I'm starting this blog up on the Day the Library of Michigan announced the 2026 Notable Books of Michigan. My book, along with 19 other newly published books, has been recognized as speaking to the State of Michigan's cultural, historical, and literary heritage (oof, lot of responsibility there).

Seriously, I am very pleased and honored to have been chosen from the hundreds of books they review every year for this award. The Library also helps the authors set up book tours which I will take advantage of in the coming months.

In future postings I'll list the dates and locations where I am speaking. The speaking engagements will be about the book as well as the Wolf-Moose Project and the Foundation that I help run.
